PREZI Lesson Plan for 9th/10th “A Deeper Look at Coronavirus and How Infectious Diseases Spread”
MobyMax helps struggling learners quickly catch up to grade level and closes learning gaps for all students.
Moby Learning, Moby Quick Checker, Moby Interactive, and Moby Rewards are all award-winning components of MobyMax, creating the most effective solution to find and fix learning gaps.
MobyMax is used in more than 82% of all K-8 schools in the United States, with over 28.7 million students and 1.5 million teachers registered.
For more information, visit http://www.mobymax.com.
How to Prepare Using MobyMax’s Free Emergency Planning Offer
Schools and districts should simply call 888-793-8331. It is free to get started, whether or not your school faces an imminent closure. Even if a school only closes for a few days or a week, the entire MobyMax program remains free for the rest of the school year.
MobyMax has also released an emergency Contingency Learning Plan, or CLP, to help schools and districts prepare to maintain student learning no matter how long closures last. The four-step plan recommends schools:
- select an internet curriculum program
- roster all teachers and students in that program before schools close
- practice using the curriculum at least once, and
- notify parents.
Schools that choose MobyMax will be covered by one comprehensive e-curriculum in all subjects for Grades K to 8, sparing many teachers the burden of managing several different edtech tools remotely. In addition to the free subscription, Moby will support districts and schools in rostering students and teachers for no charge.

Coronavirus BrainPOP Movie
It can be scary to hear about a disease outbreak, but learning the facts can help ease your mind. A new coronavirus—a type of virus named for its crown-like shape—emerged in Wuhan, China in 2019, and then spread to people around the world. While the most severe cases often dominate the headlines, they’re not the whole story. Most coronavirus cases have been mild, and healthy bodies can fight off the infection on their own. Find out more about how viruses work, and the best ways to prevent them from infecting more people. Viruses can’t spread without our help, so click play to learn how not to help them!
Consider using BrainPOP’s animated movies, assessment resources, and creative tools for:
- Distance learning
- Support for projects and homework
